With over 45 years of experience caring for both small and large animals, Dr. Marion Harris is a trusted and familiar face in Northwest Arkansas. Born and raised in the region, he has deep community roots and a lifelong dedication to animal health and wellbeing.
After earning a degree in Domestic Animal Biology from the University of Arkansas, Dr. Harris went on to graduate from the Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He began his career in Springdale before returning to Gravette to open his own clinic in 1980—laying the foundation for what is now Country View Animal Care Center.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Harris is active in his church, co-teaches a Sunday Life Group, and is a longtime supporter and advisor for local 4-H and FFA students. He’s been married to his wife Connie since 1971, and is a proud father and grandfather—always ready to share stories and photos of his two children and six grandchildren.
In his time off, Dr. Harris enjoys camping, fishing, woodworking, and cheering on the Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. His steady presence, caring nature, and decades of experience have made him a cornerstone of veterinary care in the community.
Dr. Stacey Rodine has been caring for cats and dogs with compassion and expertise since 2001. She focuses exclusively on companion animals and is known for her gentle touch, clear communication, and dedication to building lasting relationships with both pets and their people.
Originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Dr. Rodine earned her veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University after completing her undergraduate studies in Tulsa. She practiced in Tulsa for 16 years—earning the title of Tulsa’s Best Vet in 2011—before relocating to Northwest Arkansas in 2016 to be closer to family. She joined the Country View team in 2017.
Dr. Rodine and her husband, Kurt, have four children—Valry, Kurtis, Ryan, and Gavin. Outside the clinic, she volunteers in her church’s children’s ministry and enjoys hiking the local trails with her husband.
A true Arkansas native, Dr. Overstreet was born and raised in Gravette—and her roots run deep at Country View. She knew from a young age that veterinary medicine was her calling and got her very first job right here at the clinic when she was just sixteen.
After graduating from Gravette High School, she attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, earning a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She then traveled to Glendale, Arizona, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University.
Dr. Overstreet’s veterinary interests span large, small, and exotic animals. Whether it's equine dentistry, soft tissue surgery, or herd health management, she’s committed to delivering skilled, compassionate care to every animal she meets.

Originally from Bakersfield, California, Dr. James Benson served five years in the U.S. Army before finding his way to Arkansas in 1973—and he’s called it home ever since. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Arkansas, where he also played rugby. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee Institute in 1983.
Over the years, Dr. Benson has practiced in Alabama, Mississippi, and throughout Arkansas, including Fayetteville and Little Rock. In 1992, he settled in Gravette and joined Dr. Harris’s practice. The two partnered in 2005 to open what is now Country View Animal Care Center.
Dr. Benson has always had a love for animals—growing up with dogs, cats, and all kinds of creatures. He now helps run a cattle farm with his brother and enjoys time with his nieces and nephews whenever he can. He’s a proud Razorback and New York Yankees fan, and if he weren’t a veterinarian, he says he’d spend all his time camping and fishing.
Angie has worked for Dr. Harris since 1983 and enjoys her work. She raises Simmental and Simmental X cattle and loves to ride horses! She has many pets – dogs, cats, a goat, chickens, ducks, and even donkeys! She's perfectly content with working on the farm and spending time with friends and family!
Missy is our office manager and has been with Country View since 1998. She was born and raised in Gravette, her family settled here in 1902, so needless to say, Gravette has a special place in her heart. She and her husband Scotty have 4 children and 14 grandchildren combined, all of them also live in Gravette. She is a member of Church on the Hill. Missy has 3 Miniature Aussies-Jude, Jonze and Sophie, a Lab mix- Red, a Dachsund- Bentley, a Shih-tzu - Roger B, a Bassett-Bella Jo and 3 cats- Stormy, Turk and Jett. ”
Barbie has worked for Country View Animal Care Center since 2004. She has always enjoyed having animals and enjoys working with them even more. Barbie has been married to her husband Clayton since 1993 and they have 2 children together, along with numerous pets, including dogs, chickens, horses, cats and whatever else needs a home at the time. Just like everyone else in the Country View family, she is devoted to making sure she gives all her patients and their owners the best care that she can.
Karrie has worked at Country View since 2008 and has enjoyed every bit of it, she loves being around animals and has learned a lot. Karrie and her husband Bill were married in 2013. They own a farm and spend much of their free time working there! She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
