Dr. Marion Harris was born in Bentonville, grew up in Centerton , attending Grade School in Centerton and Jr. Hi and High School in Bentonville.
He attended the University of Arkansas, graduating with a BS in Domestic Animal Biology. He then attended the Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, LA, graduating in 1979.
After graduation, Dr. Harris accepted a position at Mayfield Veterinary Clinic in Springdale, AR, and worked there until moving to Gravette to open Harris Veterinary Clinic in August of 1980. In July of 2005 he and Dr. Benson teamed up to move the practice across town to the new facility and officially opened Countryview Animal Care Center.
Dr. Harris has been married to his wife Connie since 1971. They have two children and 6 grandchildren, who he is always happy to brag on and share pictures!
Dr. Harris is active in his church, Bentonville Community Church of the Nazarene, co-teaching a Life Group each Sunday morning. He enjoys assisting and advising 4-H and FFA students any way he can. In his off hours, he enjoys spending time with his family, loves camping and fishing, and woodworking projects.
He is a lifelong Razorback and St. Louis Cardinal fan !
Dr. Harris is both a small and large animal vet.
Dr. James Benson was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. He spent 5 years in the Army then returned to school. In 1973 he came to Arkansas to visit and ended up staying. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science from the U of A. He played Rugby for the U of A, Auburn, and Miss. State. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Tuskegee Institute in 1983. He has practiced in Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas (Little Rock and Fayetteville). In 1992, he finally settled back in Gravette and started working for Dr. Harris. In 2005, he partnered up with Dr. Harris and they established CountryView Animal Care Center.
He and his brother have a farm together raising cattle. He enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews. He's also a NY Yankee and U of A fan. He's always had dogs, cats and other creatures growing up. He truly enjoys his profession, meeting new people and caring for their animals. He says he would only change his profession to fishing and camping!

Dr. Stacey Rodine was born in Oklahoma City. She grew up in Broken Arrow, OK where she attended High School. Stacey completed her undergraduate studies at Tulsa Community College and the University Center in Tulsa. Dr. Rodine attended Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2001.
After graduating from OSU School of Veterinary Medicine, Stacey joined a practice in Tulsa and worked there for 16 years. She received the honor of being voted Tulsa’s Best Vet in 2011.
Stacey and her husband Kurt have 4 children: Valry, Kurtis, Ryan and Gavin. They relocated to Northwest Arkansas in 2016 to be closer to Stacey’s family. She began working at Countryview Animal Care Center in April 2017.
Dr. Rodine volunteers in the Children’s Department at her church, and in her free time she and her husband enjoy hiking the local trails.
Angie Walker:
Has worked for Dr. Harris since 1983 and enjoys her work. She raises Simmental and Simmental cross cattle and loves to ride horses! She has many pets – dogs, cats, a goat, chickens, ducks, and even donkeys! She's perfectly content with working on the farm and spending time with friends and family!
Missy Edgmon:
Missy is Office Manager and has been with Countryview since 1998. Her passion is animal rescue.
She was born and raised in Gravette, the family settled her in 1902, so needless to say, Gravette is a very important place to her. She and her husband Scotty have 4 children and 14 grandchildren combined, all of them also live in Gravette. She is a member of Church on the Hill.
Missy has 3 Miniature Aussies-Jude, Jonze and Sophie, a Lab mix- Red, a Dachsund- Bentley,
a Shih-tzu - Roger B, a Bassett-Bella Jo and 3 cats- Stormy, Turk and Jett. ”
Barbie Ogle:
Barbie has worked for Countryview Animal Care Center since 2004. She has always enjoyed having animals and enjoys working with them even more.
Barbie has been married to her husband Clayton since 1993 and they have 2 children together, along with numerous pets, including dogs, chickens, horses, cats and whatever else needs a home at the time.
Just like everyone else in the Countryview family, she is devoted to making sure she gives all her patients and their owners the best care that she can.
Karrie Parnam:
Karrie has worked at Countryview since 2008 and has enjoyed every bit of it, she loves being around animals and has learned a lot.
Karrie and her husband Bill were married in 2013. They own a farm and spend much of their free time working there!
She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
